One Book One Community
This year as part of our One Book One Community project we are using Michael Kelly's 'Grow Cook Eat'. Michael is the founded of the GIY Ireland movement and Grow HQ in Co Waterford. The book is a monthly treasure trove on what to be doing in your garden, what vegetables/ seeds to be planting, what's in season and of course it's full of amazing and delicious recipes from well known chefs making sure we are buying, cooking and eating what's in season. The One Book One Community project will be bringing together class groups, parent groups and the community to take part in the nine week project, where each group chooses their own idea and works with that and displays their work at the end of the process.
