Board of Management Update October 2016

• ·      A new initiative for High Achievers has been set up. Its first initiative is a lunch time
•  book club.
• ·  ·         3^rd and 6^th years attended a ½ day Student Enrichment Course
• ·  ·         2 ASD classes are now up and running
• ·  ·         The Student Council had its first meeting and are sending two representatives to address the BOM at its next meeting.
• ·  ·         The APP project is working very well in the school, an address was given to all staff at the staff meeting by Ann Marie Murphy
• ·  ·         There will be a Health and Safety Frill drill in the next coming weeks.
• ·  ·         Thanks were offered to all staff members engaging in activities 
• ·  ·         The board was updated on The Droichead Programme currently running in the school which gives support and advice to newly qualified teachers
• ·  ·         The board has asked for a report on the bus from the ETB.
